I was thinking about this yesterday. You can do the thing.

Were you using a local account or a Microsoft account? If local, check the users folder for that profiles files. If a MS account you may be able to sync files to get them back.

I'm looking forward to the turkey + stuffing + mashed potatoes + gravy savory pie I'm picking up tomorrow. For the rest I will quote a song, "I can't complain but sometimes I still do".

I have two suggestions:

1) Take a lot of pictures. They grow up fast.

It's a different kind of poetry that is written in what the Japanese refer to as Kenja Taimu (Wise Mans Time). A pinch of tristesse, a dash of clarity, and a heaping cup of "What now?" can generate some good poetry.
