With it being near the end of October soon I'm doing my annual rewatch of Mr. Stain on Junk Alley and Gregory Horror Show. Horror movies are great but I do also enjoy throwing in simple cartoons with uncomfortable episodes or ideas lol

I feel like the folks who cheered on that genAI video of Trump flying a plane and shitting on protesters are the same type of folks who were legit offended and terrified of this joke image during the Obama years

Also because it's the season, give the Long Halloween graphic novel a try. It's reprinted enough it's not a hard hunt and it's Tim Sale's design choices on full display in a murder mystery

Now this one can be rough to recommend because of modern tastes of comics. The old Jack Cole Plastic Man comics are a big favorite of mine but if you don't wanna go that far back give Rubber Banded a try. That or watch his shorts in recent cartoons and really anything he annoys Batman in is fun

Jonah Hex is a odd favorite of mine but he's so hard to recommend a starting spot and I'm outta the loop on newer stories sadly. That's one if you get the time maybe see what you can stumble on and if it vibes with you. Western man with a bitched up face who pretty good at pulling a gun on the odds
