About one year and two weeks ago, I started playing maimai as my main rhythm game.
Today, I finally achieved the goal I thought I would never be able to achieve - 15000/rainbow rating.
I never thought I would come this far, but it goes to show that persistence and perseverence pay off.

Something Springer said after ALCS G7 stuck with me. He wasn't trying for a home run, he was just trying to score the runners on 2nd and 3rd. By focusing on execution and not results, he actually ended up with a better result. I also want to have this mindset during my push to reach 15k in maimai.

I don't drive, I don't like driving. Public transit all the way.
And before anyone says that it has to be one or the other, good infrastructure for both driving and public transit can coexist. Korea is an amazing example of this, with both strong car culture AND convenient public transit.
