I'm an old guy. Worked all my life. Getting by in retirement. Can't believe the way this Country has gone. Glad I won't have to deal with it as long as the young. I heard about 40% of possible voters didn't bother. Shame on them.
As a weekly grocery shopper who keeps a strict budget,I wholeheartedly agree prices are up since last year. MSM is never going to tell the whole truth. They're all owned and controlled by mega-billionaires who would be hurt if people were smart enough to vote their own interests.

Classic repooplican whataboutism to evade clear distinction. What was around at enactment of the Constitution rules according to SCOTUS originalist theory not what's around today. But with typical hypocrisy, right wingers ignore facts to reach conclusions.

That if the standard for interpreting the Constitution is what existed when it was enacted, the "originality" concept of the right wing, the word "arms" in the 2nd Amendment should only include those arms in existence in 1789, i.e.unrifled flintlocks.

The weapons are worlds apart. Don't know what 50 cal is like today or a 50 cal flintlock was but was quite familiar with a US Army 50 cal circa 1966. 2nd Amendment never ever contemplated today's weaponry. If you think so, you're just a tool of the manufacturers.
