I dunno if you watch/listen to Critical Role, but the thing you have to know is that for every eloquent quote they have, there's 10 sex or 12-yr-old-mind puns at LEAST.

Not sure of classification, but I remember Story of Your Life, which is what Arrival was based on, was rather short. Might have a been a novella though
