when my mom lived in Kashmir, a small village in Pakistan, she knew, and was friends with, 20-30 trans women. trans joy exists all over the world. only colonial powers tried to stop the ideology of “third genders” — something indigenous people understood long before

what is up with bluesky limiting the words transgender and trans women? why is there no social media platforms that aren’t hiding their transphobia thru a thin lens. trans women are being censored on instagram, virtually non existent on fb, and this is supposed to be the alternative?
