I didn't realise until 34 that I'd never really made a choice to pursue something I wanted. I'd basically just dissociated and let life happen to me, because that's what it's meant to be isn't it? No one really remembers going through puberty anyway we all kind of block that out right?

Which puberty you go through is literally something that can be controlled, therefore it should be an active choice. Should be treated similarly to something like "do you want braces yes or no" (and paid for by the state of course)

I can understand puberty blockers in the specific (and bad) context where HRT is hugely gatekept and it can take ages to get on it
But if the blockers themselves are also hugely gatekept and it takes ages to get on them then really what is the fucking point eh

Oh I fully expect they saw this happen in the UK and just decided that made it acceptable to do here. I don't think they've really put more thought into "how can we hurt trans kids" than "how can we *justify* hurting trans kids to the voting public"

This "AI" shit crammed in everywhere has made me prefer web apps so much more whenever possible, because at least then I can apply custom CSS to hide shit like this
