Of all the airport shuttles and air trains and terminal connectors I’ve been on, the Dallas Forth Worth SkyLink is the only one that’s nearly taken folks OUT if they don’t hold on to them rails. This thing is pulling some Gs on these turns!

Military aircraft would pass near, over and around Reagan Airport / DCA all the time. This was Crystal City in Arlington last January, literally three blocks from the Pentagon. This isnBUSY af airspace.

I’ve landed and taken off from Reagan dozens of times like so many other DMV folk.
If I’m not mistaken, this pic from a couple yrs ago shows the area of the Potomac where the plane and Black Hawk collided. You can see a plane coming in the clouds; they come in QUICK.

By the end of 2019, I finished my 6 month internship at CNN while submitting my masters project in engagement journalism from the Newmark J-School. That moment inspired me to move & push & do.
