It is so obvious what the new political path is. It’s not left vs right. It’s about new vs old. The new politicians who figured out you have to talk directly to everyday people vs the old guard whose primary concern is maintaining party lines, saying the right thing, & catering to corporate donors.

Calling it now (based on vibes). Trump will die before his term is up from either poor health or will sense legal trouble (Epstein files) and die instead of face consequences. Then Putin will die shortly after. And we will all wake up to an entirely new global order. A massive reset in geopolitics

Looking at early earnings reports from the biggest enterprise tech companies, it's clear that some are better positioned than others to weather the chaos of Trump's tariffs and Elon Musk's federal government cuts. Also: Synadia wants to take back ownership of a project it donated to the CNCF.
Enterprise tech confronts tariff chaos
Today: What the first week of Q1 Big Tech earnings says about the enterprise market heading into the rest of the year, the creators of NATS are trying to pull off the old-fashioned "takesies-backsies"...

Feel like so many structural issues could be fixed by reforming:

1.) Campaign finance (end Citizens united)
2.) Supreme Ct. Staggered 19 year terms, justices being rotated in and out of the appeals courts (similar to FED structure), strict ethics policy, and an enforcement mechanism.

That’s it.

Oh dear you’re going to want to read this. Looks like DOGErs were caught exfiltrating NLRB data, likely on unions, for private (seemingly Elony) use. This is must read. What we’ve all suspected. But now details. www.npr.org/2025/04/15/n...
A whistleblower's disclosure details how DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data
A whistleblower tells Congress and NPR that DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data and hid its tracks. "None of that ... information should ever leave the agency," said a former NLRB official.

After the apocalypse, there might come a slow blackout—less bang, more whimper. Routers die. Servers take their last breath. Phones crap out. Nothing works.

Except Collapse OS, the operating system for the end of the world.
The Best Programming Language for the End of the World
Once the grid goes down, an old programming language called Forth—and a new operating system called Collapse OS—may be our only salvation.

American war planning usually takes place in highly secure facilities. But the Trump administration planned its strikes on the Houthis using a group chat—and accidentally included The Atlantic’s editor in chief, Jeffrey Goldberg. theatln.tc/IuULQFiY
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Outraged by the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, a wilderness survival trainer spent years undercover climbing the ranks of right-wing militias.

@benstiller.redhour.com could you give us a breakdown into playing Tony Perkis all these years later? Eg how do feel being snubbed for an Oscar? and how often do you tell yourself: “Step on up son! Get on the scale. GET OFF THE SCALE.”
