Look at this beauty of a shawl! I am speechless at the generosity and kindness that was gifted to me today by my dear knitting friend, Paula Kilbidis. All the way from Cologne, Germany to Colorado, USA. It’s been a rough year, medically, and she just wanted to give me a hug of encouragement. ❤️

Well, I ruined this by getting candle wax on it. Now I’m starting over.

I’ll be the 1st to say that I’m terrible at taking selfies, lol! But I finally finished this humongous shawl that’s well over 6’ square. It’ll be gifted to my eldest granddaughter this Xmas.

Yarn: Kantklosgaren Belgian linen 2/80 NM
Needles: Chiaogoo Red Lace 2 mm.

Finally almost finished with this monstrous shawl. I’ll admit, I’m a slow grafter but I’ve put in 15 hrs so far in grafting borders to the center section. I still need to graft the corners but that doesn’t entail working with “live” stitches so it’s easier.

I started this Shetland lace shawl about 5 yrs ago. Started to graft the borders to the center yesterday. This is a humongous piece, well over 6’ square.

I’m wondering how many others here like The Dark Tower series by #StephenKing ? I tend to re-read or listen to the series every 3 years or so for decades now. I’m currently on book three, The Wastelands. It seems like I read something new at every read.
