For some, the compromise and challenge required to be a parent are totally worth it. For others, it’s not - or they’re just not sure.

Chappell wasn’t saying that her friends that are parents don’t love their children and aren’t fulfilled by their lives. She was simply stating (in inflammatory language) that it is difficult to be a parent. Her friends have had to make compromises within their lives as parents, such as their sleep.

Like, I even did two loads of washing and took the dog to the park. I AM UNSTOPPABLE.

I say this as someone with ADHD and who can’t drive. If my only options are be 10 mins late or 30 mins early, you best believe I’ll be 30 mins early. I’m too stressed about being late to do anything before set plans anyway. 😂
