All gaming is good gaming (well, almost, but we won’t talk about those). There are lots of amazing authors and artists out there making the hobby great, and we all contribute in our own way.

I’m afraid I can’t offer any insight there. Work the problem and assume lots of smart, passionate people were involved in all of those decisions. Then reread Dan’s letter with that in mind.

To be extremely clear, this is my own personal opinion. I liked the tone Dan Rawson struck in letter he sent all staff announcing the layoffs. It was a tough call, because Sigil is beautiful, but there was a lot of work left to get it to fulfill its potential. It’s not dead - just much smaller.

Having a passion for games, the magic of interacting with other players and sharing in the creation of fantastic tales is something that brings us all together. I love that you’ve found a way to bring your stories to life. Happy gaming!

Respectfully, we don’t work at an AI-centric or exploitive workplace. I love what I do, the people I do it with, and am proud of the things we make. #WotCstaff

We’ll see what the public thinks, and I am excited to see these new creatures in action! I’m pretty excited to see what people like and what they decide to change.

To THAC0 or not to THAC0; that is the questions. But seriously though, whoever thought than having an armor class that was both positive and negative numbers was a good idea clearly values math more than usability.
