The second character, Belle, is the blue magical girl based on a childhood friend’s sister who developed arthritis at a very young age. She has a gun for her weapon, it shoots vaccine bullets ;)

The first, Ann, based on my Grammy who has lung cancer. She developed it at an old age but I still think cancer should be included in the series somewhere. And, I have a first hand account :)

Twist came out of a portal near Drew’s house, and because he’s a support to Healers in his world, he knows the qualities to look for.

Drew was chosen from this reality out of necessity because Twist didn’t mean to let Pandora’s box slip through his portal and he doesn’t have the power to fight on his own.

The support person can be anyone the Healer deems worthy to help! Like for instance, Drew’s girlfriend and mom are both supports and they provide Drew with different sets of skills!

The main heroines are called Healers as a group. So, Drew is a Healer!

So far this is all I have written, but there are two other girls in the first arc; Ophelia and Rowena. They each have an animal companion later on that resembles a mental illness. More will be shown about how they get their companions, but their names are Tox, Trixie, Tweak, and Tibble.

After defeating the cold, Drew changes back to her condition before meeting Twist. Drew agrees to help Twist in his fight against the diseases from his world.

She takes the amulet and transforms into a heroine from Twist's world, Twist feels a pull somewhere and they have to go fight a monster (that, in his world, are not invasive and are taken care of) that is the embodiment of the common cold.

He finds a girl, Drew, sleeping in her bed in a lot of pain, being treated for Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis. He figures she'll work for help. He wakes her up and eventually gets her to help him when he explains with a special amulet all her pain will go away.

Twist then tries to find help because he made a big boo-boo!!! He rushes to a nearby hospital because in HIS universe all of the heroes and people that keep the bad stuff in check are doctors and nurses! They should be able to help!

So the story starts off with Twist, our magical phoenix friend from an alternate universe who came through a portal to our universe! Only, when he popped through, some ~bad~ stuff came through too! Oh no!

This is a comic about autoimmune diseases/chronic illness that are rare and unusual in young women! The main character is based off my own experience with Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis as a 24-25 year old woman.
