This was a good discussion. But the tendency to expect the Senate to “do the right thing” and “do their job” is exceptionally naive. Failure to convict on the 2 impeachments, the rushed & ridiculous POTUS appointments, the failure to work together on sooo many issues,etc. Can we count on them?!?
