A great fun song when it first came out, and still rattles around in my head to this day!

I hope you have a quick recovery, take care!

Yep, that makes sense.

And I do understand the problems and harm this is causing. I've just finished reading the paper by @wolvendamien.bsky.social - It goes with how I see the situ. I'd love to chat about how the requirements set out at the end can be achieved.

That's what I'm writing about. What's playing out now as a microcosm/precursor of what's to come in a much bigger way. This has been genuinely helpful. I hope we can stay connected, but I understand and respect if you decide against it.

They do indeed. Just reading the first few words of the paper suggest I'm going to really appreciate this. Thanks again!

I'm learning/researching/writing about it off my own back at the moment. And in a seemingly impossible mix of having long supported artists directly, and also being into tech developments. That incompatibility tells me there are wider issues. I'll check out @wolvendamien.bsky.social thank you!

With working artists, designers, and creators already affected by these events, I see it as a microcosm of what's coming to many other fields too. I'm trying to navigate & connect in all directions--for, against, & all in between--which I understand not all will appreciate. But it feels necessary.

It has to be the inability to pay someone that's the problem. Because I don't have enough fingers to count the number of artists I know looking for that sort of work, myself included.
