I'm too old and too tired to keep up a character specific profile anymore

That said, I remember why I like Superman so much

This kind of makes "Ghost Rider gets infected with a Brood" make sense, if they'd shown a couple of panels of the Brood embryo burning up when it came into contact with his flaming skeleton body, but it's astral essence possessing him

The only time I can forgive it was when Faruza Balk said "I fixed y'all lawnmower" in Waterboy because

A) it's feasible that she meant "your family's lawnmower", and

B) because Faruza Balk said it

To the list of the many things Scott Lobdell should not do, I would like to add "Don't use 'y'all' to address a single person"

Justin Theroux's Robert House in Fallout Season 2 could very easily also be Andrew Ryan from BioShock

I haven't read this story since it came out, so maybe there's an explanation for this that makes sense, but I remember at the time it made me roll my eyes so hard it could see my brain

#WolverineWednesday

I'm very pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying 90s X-Men this time around. I'm starting to realize that my distaste for it actually in the 90s was more about associating it with unpleasant aspects of my life at the time than the actual comics themselves

For this week's #VintageToyTuesday I want to talk about one of the favorite 80s toy lines I never had, the Sky Commanders. I was obsessed with grappling hooks and zip lines as a kid, so I guarantee if I'd had a few of these my grandparents living room would have been a death trap of string

Show me what comic you loved when you were 13, and that's all I need to know about you.

In his alt continuity series X-Men Forever, Claremont renames Gambit Remy Picard, because in main continuity his adopted father's name was Jean Luc

While I loved the Claremont/Lee Gambit, and while I'm glad this issue led to Remy/Rogue becoming one of my favorite couples, I REALLY don't like the Lee/Byrne dirtbag Gambit

I really liked X-Men in the late 80s and very early 90s, but fell off in early 1992, right after moving to a new town I didn't like. At the time I was disappointed that Claremont was gone, but I think also I associated the line with the move

Reading Gambit is useful for learning French, because it gives me the opportunity to look up new words I don't know
