Final Dyzlexia Character (for now there's more I just haven't drawn):
Yu-Jun is an 8-year-old nonverbal autistic Korean kid. Yu-Jun is the youngest member of the group and is pretty apprehensive of people. The group met him when they were looting his treehouse and he held them up with a BB gun, which Alex helped him calm down and convinced the group to take him with them. Yu-Jun loves Alex and views him like a big brother, he loves drawing him pictures and showing him cool things he found while they were looting. He can get easily overwhelmed but knows not to run off and is a very strong kid, especially knowing his situation. Yu-Jun has arguably the saddest death (at least for me), as he's pulled from the arms of Alex by a horde and this is the only time he ever speaks which is him screaming for Alex to save him.

Chris Spearman is 17 years old and the love interest/boyfriend of Alex King. Chris grew up with Alex and his sister Sam and would die for the two of them. He's always joking around and always lightening the mood, he struggles with addiction (specifically weed) but since the apocalypse, he's started to kick the habit (emphasis on started). When the group went to Chicago in search of Alex's father Chris and Winter were both bit, winter survived but Chris did not. Even on his deathbed he tried to smile and wanted to be sure Alex didn't blame himself and Sam didn't blame him, despite being his dying wish the two never fulfilled it. Donatello "Donny" Myers is a 30-year-old veteran and transgender man. Donny is strong and has a lot of advice, but he doesn't always think first. He's used to being an older brother figure since he had a stepbrother he practically raised growing up but died early in the apocalypse. The group met him in the first community they stayed in and it was thanks to him they all escaped, knowing the best route out after it was invaded by the dead and helping Creek get back in to save Alex who was left behind. Sadly Donny was the first death the group experienced together, after pissing off the wrong people the group was taunted by a biker gang leader who ended up shooting Donny in the head while he was trying to save everyone. Hannah Jolie is a 24-year-old nurse and the love interest of Winter. She's sweet and caring, to her detriment since she can't muster the courage to kill lurkers/sprinters since she believes they're still people. Hannah grew up damn near raising her younger sister Harper since their mother was incapable of doing so after the disappearance of her husband. She would lay down her life to protect her sister and agreed to work for a community as a doctor if it meant her sister would be safe, she ended up helping Alex escape from this said community after their leader beat him nearly to death and the rest of the group was kicked out. Hannah ended up passing away from being infected by Winter due to sex and a broken condom. Her final wishes were for Harper to be protected and to let her turn to see what it's truly like. Harper Jolie is the 14-year-old younger sister of Hannah and a trans girl. Harper is extremely quiet and a bit emotional but unlike her sister, she's not afraid to kill and made it her mission to protect Hannah. When the Jolie family was trying to survive in the beginning the 3 were caught in a riot and due to an explosion, lost their mother and Harper suffered from severe facial scarring. She chooses to wear a gas mask (originally forced to by a community) to hide her scarring but has grown to like it since it makes her feel stronger (and cooler).

Next up "Dyzlexia"
Dyzlexia is about a group of survivors in a parasitic zombie apocalypse. 4 of the main characters are pictured here but there are many more. This is inspired heavily by #thewalkingdead #thelastofus

Themes: family, guilt, trauma, fathers, disability, horror, consequences
Alex King is the 16-year-old protagonist of Dyzlexia, growing up he struggled heavily with ADHD and severe debilitating dyslexia that made reading nearly impossible for him without help. He found comfort in his best friends Chris and Sam Spearman and grew up with them all his life. He is a talkative and somewhat selfish kid, but he's not evil, he tries his best to do what's right but it always seems to bite him in the ass later on. He loves his friends and family and learns how consequences can be devastating. When the turn happened his father wasn't home and after 2 months by himself he found Creek Bailey and they started their journey to Chicago to find his father, or so Alex thought... Creek Bailey is a man in his late 40s and the deuteragonist of Dyzlexia. He's a hardass, abrasive, and unforgiving, but he's a survivor. Creek mentors Alex and the rest of the group and teaches them how to survive in a world that's out to kill them. He comes off as a rude bastard (which he is) but he loves his group and won't admit he views Alex like a son since still recovering from his daughter's death 20 years ago, long before the turn. Sam Spearman is the 16-year-old sister of Chris Spearman (not pictured) and one of Alex's best friends. She's confident, and a fighter, but gets angered easily. Sam is one of 3 group members who are capable with a gun since she was taught by her and Chris's dad from a young age. Sam's opinion of Alex is heavily shifted and her entire personality changes after they reach Chicago since she blames him for the death of her brother. She lashes out at anyone who tries to help her and would rather die than admit how broken she is, she learns to live with this trauma after bonding with Harper Jolie (another group member) but never truly forgives Alex. Winter McClain is 25 and the only known survivor of an infected bite. A parasite lives in everyone in Dyzlexia and upon death, it reanimates the corpse, so contact with a sprinter/lurker bodily fluid is not the catalyst HOWEVER it causes death in 100% of cases. Winter is a soft-spoken sweetheart who has difficulty speaking up for themselves. They always try to look out for people and will even purposefully get bit if it means protecting someone else. They end up falling head over heels for the group's nurse and older sister to Harper, Hannah Jolie. But after a night coupled up in an old store and pent-up desires, Hannah ends up contracting the deadly infection carried by the dead and dying. Winter never forgives themself for this and makes it their duty to protect Hannahs younger sister no matter the cost.

We'll start with "Crosshairs"
Crosshairs is a story about a 15 year old boy called Asher and a demon made of shadow named Beelzy teaming up to fight the four horsemen of the apocalypse. This is arguably my most developed story.

Themes: Family, Identity, Trauma, Religion, and Hope
Asher Melchior, an autistic 15-year-old trans guy. Raised catholic by his Uncle Matthew, Asher has a lot of self-hatred and catholic guilt, these feelings are worsened by the abusive nature of his Uncle and his teachings. He has a good heart and holds his catholic values close to him despite the harsh past he has with it, he genuinely just wants to live a good life as himself with those who love him. Beelzy (not related to Beelzebub) is what some might describe as a "prick" but has good intentions. He has been a guide for holy/demonic orders since the fall of Lucifer and has seen humanity thrive and crumble many times before. He enjoys the superfluous things humanity makes and actually seems to care about the lives of the world despite his demonic nature, he especially cares for Asher and feels great sorrow for him and his experiences.
