Astrophysicists at The Graduate Center are expanding our understanding of the cosmos. Professors K.E. Saavik Ford and Barry McKernan co-authored a new study in Nature Astronomy that captured the brightest and most distant black hole flare ever recorded, radiating with the light of 10 trillion suns.
