A simpler solution may be to contextualize the gameplay as somehow seducing the men.

"Guy A isn't my type, but I like his buffs." Encouraging the character to explore a character they weren't initially into
"Guy B is my type, but his buffs don't match my build." Encourages the player to try different builds.

It might be better if you still want to have the gameplay to be fighting monsters to have the sexy men join you in the fighting or by some means buffing you. It would join the two aspects more, and having the sexy men have a gameplay aspect would characterize them more and encourage player options

One thing for more of a gameplay moment, The last of your game I played, the summoner one, there was a disconnect between what the appeal of the game presents (fucking spirit men) and the game play (Fighting monsters), making the latter feel like busywork. Greater harmony would be appreciated
