in Trump's warped corrupt mind, the ultra-rich are incapable of committing crimes.

Gov @gavinnewsom.bsky.social is spotlighting yet another area where Trump is significantly damaging his own country because of his pig-headed ignorance.

Hey Washington Post and others, any chance you can report on the NEWS, of which there’s plenty of these days, and avoid asinine meaningless clickbait that won’t be relevant or useful til at least 2027?

Patti Smith's pioneering debut album "Horses" is 50 years old today. Here she is on U.S. TV last week with the album cover. Beautiful.

Note to the BBC from a Yankee in London:
Over the years, it is clear Trump often sues to hassle and embarrass people, rule the news cycle, and to make them spend a ton of money on expensive lawyers--not because he thinks the facts indicate he was wronged.

Hope The Democrats can impel voters to remember in 2026 that Trump doesn't give a hairy rat's ass (my Mom's old expression) if working Americans can't afford food or health care.

As I tweeted 2 hrs ago, Trump is desperately trying to erase the truth that he and dozens of allies tried to reverse results of 2020 election. Look at how, below, Trump’s so-called DOJ pardon attorney falsely calls 2020 election “a grave national injustice,” gaslighting all of us.

BREAKING: Trump wants to erase the shameful history of he and his pals'⬇️illegal attempts to reverse a free, fair and accurate 2020 election LOSS. It will never happen. Trump will always be correctly viewed in history as a traitor to his country who unleashed a coup.

And, as electoral experts have noticed, it may mean that the five extra Congressional seats for the @GOP that @GovAbbott thought he gerrymandered may not actually go @GOP in 2026 elections. Latinos in 2025 did not support GOP in their voting like they did in 2024.

Makes sense that the current Supreme Court would gleefully join Trump, the king they crowned, in denying food to 42 million hungry Americans down on their luck, often paid too little by greedy multi-national corporations. Fuck ALL of them.

.@GOP sincerely satanically want to rip away millions of Americans’ health care. If they agree to keep ACA subsidies for a year as a compromise, they know Democrats likely will b in charge of the House then, millions of Americans will keep their health care & GOP doesn’t want that to happen.
November 8, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Been saying this for months. So have others. Why does Trump agitate against the future of his own country? Are we sure he’s an American? His cuts to enable huge tax cuts for the rich are hurting the U.S. in multiple ways. And they don’t deserve or need them. Trump is an enemy of the people.

I appreciate that the Trump administration constantly keeps providing proof for my point made over the past few months that they are a white supremacist administration. Likely misogynist as well.

.@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social is the Mayor-elect, he should have occupancy of Gracie Mansion. And in that centuries-old ballroom, he should blast his fave songs that inspired him during the campaign as @pitchfork.com reported--by Keith Juluka, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss etc!:

Good to see the Supreme Court stop treating Trump like a king, and reread the Constitution to find that Congress has the ultimate power to approve tariffs, not the president, especially a power-hungry one with poor strategy skills and without economic expertise.

Last night @nicollewallace.bsky.social featured the most disturbing yet urgent story I’ve seen on her show, from @carolleonnig.bsky.social's new book on how Trump got away w/secret documents & 1/6 crimes & how DOJ & AG allowed this mass injustice to occur. This clip NEEDS 2B on @msnbc.com's YouTube.

"Some get the gravy
and some get the gristle
Some get the marrow bone
and some get nothing though there's plenty to spare...
Who let the greedy in?
Who left the needy out?
Who made this salty soup?
Tell him we're very hungry now for a sweeter fare"

The shamelessly displayed lust for personal riches over the country, the overwhelming hundreds of millions in graft and gold, is embarrassing, if you believe in America and its democracy. And the image it transmits worldwide is highly damaging, ripe for easy mockery.

New @brucespringsteen.net “Nebraska” boxset shows the great majority of the time, he made the right decisions. “Electric Nebraska” is nowhere near what he recorded solo in a bedroom, w/possible exception of “Mansion.” "Reason” is a good rocker but his desolate original makes the point better.
