English is only partially phonetic, unlike languages that have been reformed to map sounds to symbols like modern Turkish. English has 44 phonemes but with hundreds of ways of being spelt. Phonics is important but not a silver bullet.

My 9yo informed me the other day that instead of reading to each other in class, they are now reading to an app. The teacher shared my concerns over gen AI, but suggested it was fine as the kids only interact Amazon Transcribe. The results formulated by ChatCPT were reserved for the teachers. Grrr.

There are limits on the size of that window though, right? Does increasing that window size improve (not sure how you would measure that) the output?

Obviously it will be outrageous, but they are only selling part of the building, so it wouldn't be as outrageous as the whole. Great building though.
