We need to be better sellers. To offer a 35 year old a new contract when we have other keeper options is so short sighted. We made similar mistakes in not selling Almiron or Wilson when we had the chance. We have learned nothing.

Nice lad and seemingly a great pro but the fact that he is still on the books is shameful for all involved, both pre and post takeover

The messy wins are all the more satifying IMO - we can't play fantastic football all the time and there will be some games where you have to shithouse your way to the points. Makes it all the sweeter!

Can't say I have ever heard of him to be honest. But having read the article and watched the videos circulating, I will be amazed if he is still in his job by the end of the season!

Got that kit for my 6th birthday and still remember it so well! That photo properly brought back some fantastic memories, not necessarily of the game as I was young but the feeling of getting your first ever kit. Magic

yes, I don't really wish injury on anyone but Pope is a shocking keeper in terms of distribution and his head and shoulders clear when it comes to the worst in the league for this

Wonder if we will see the £20m international keeper we signed in a nothing to see here, this isn't a dodgy deal at all. Or steady Eddie will stick with glued to his line Dubravka. Either way, we are in for a treat!

Should have been sold when the alleged offers came in from Milan and Atl Madrid. Howe chose to reject them from what I have read and most fans knew that was a massive error at the time. Another mistake in the transfer market that has probably cost millions.

I don't know the answers, I suspect there aren't clear answers but we have been awful for 12+ months now, this isn't a knee jerk reaction from today, I have doubted EH for months and months now and personally, I feel a change is needed but respect other fans whose views may be different.

But he is (IMO) getting the tactics and the team selection wrong, a lot. Now, I'm no manager, EH certainly knows beter than me but he needs to change something. Why not approach Brentford the same way we did Liverpool/Arsenal? Is it the players fault? Are they not doing what is asked? /2

I agree with you, a lot has gone against EH but one consistent has been absolutely awful tactics, sometimes at home, mostly away. If we were being beaten week in week out, I'd probably say those external factors have damaged us but we know we can play well, very well in fact /1

“When I’m fit” it’s not the lack of goals that is an issue. He does score when he plays and fans don’t forget that. It’s the when I’m fit part that is the issue unfortunately

Most fans, myself included, have loved what Howe has done since he started but the last 12 months have simply not been good enough. Most fans see this and the criticism is fully deserved. It's not magnified now, its just ramped up as the performances have gone from bad to shocking

An argument against selling them would be if they have done well this season and played a part but on the field, all 3 have done absoltely nothing this season. The part they play off the field is not something we know but I would argue whatever they bring off the field its not worth £50m

this point is my main grievance to be honest. I understand getting players in can be tricky for a variety of reasons but we had offers for Wilson, Almiron and Trippier - good offers too. I don't know how much influence EH had over these but IMO all 3 should have been sold - all 3 are worthless now
