icymi: Whipped up a middle eastern dish for dinner recently called mujadara. A spiced lentil and rice dish with onions, herbs and pistachios...all topped with some lamb kofta (meatballs)

Spent the holiday weekend in Houston and we had a great time! Got to see the Astros and fireworks on Friday night, sampled some new cuisines and shopped at a few international markets. My cookbook hunting was a bust though 😅

The architecture is prague really is spectacular, and it was one of the few cities in Europe that didn't get bombed to smithereens back in the war, so much of it is unscathed
