At a polling site at Columbia’s campus on West 125th Street, in Harlem, people are slowly trickling in to vote this morning. Votes are overwhelming for Zohran Mamdani.

With analyses showing older voters are driving turnout, Mamdani needs high turnout with younger folks.

Democrat Zohran Mamdani stopped by Friday jummah prayer at the Muslim American Society Youth Center in Bath Beach, Brooklyn. His canvassers, including some from London, handed out campaign materials to young voters and Muslim voters as part of a diverse coalition to help him win the race for mayor.

Here’s former Gov. Andrew Cuomo on conservative talk radio “Sid and Friends in the Morning” talking about Zohran Mamdani.

“God forbid, another 9/11, can you imagine Mamdani in the seat?” Cuomo asks.

“He’d be cheering,” Sid Rosenberg says.

After a laugh, Cuomo says, “That’s another problem.”

DHS said its operation targeted people selling counterfeit goods, with nine people arrested. Down the street, 26 Federal Plaza — housing immigration court and DHS offices and holding areas — had barriers and NYPD officers surrounding it. Protests are expected this evening.
