Okay but serious question who is flooding into America from Canada? They have all-dressed ruffles up there and it's pretty chill all things considered.

I don't know about you but even when my sleep is unfuckled I'm still on that caffeine drip because my chemical dependency might rebel if I'm not.

That's what's really getting me, I love how messy they all are. I enjoyed Veilguard, but coming back to this reminds me of what I was missing. They're so great and terrible.

I hadn't played it in like a decade until I started a playthrough last night. I'm now nearly 8 hours deep and loving it so much. I'm glad it wasn't just nostalgia glasses making this game good for me.

Every time I eat spicy cup noodles I'm thankful for the scientific advancements we have made as a species.

If eating an entire block of aged cheddar is wrong then I don't wanna be right - sincerely, a large man with a mighty need for cheese.

That's so cool! Where did you get it from?

No problem!

Wo Long is honestly a bit harder, but I found the combat to be super satisfying.
New GoW is fantastic! Definitely worth it especially now that they're on PC, they tell a great story.
I'd also recommend the Guardians of the Galaxy game from a few years ago which was super underrated.

3/3

Similar games that I really enjoyed are: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Jedi: Fallen Order, God of War 2018/Ragnarok, Sekiro, Nioh 2, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. I think these all are somewhat similar to Wukong, but excel in places where I found it to be lacking.

Sorry to type your ear off!

That being said, I think it has some wonderful art direction and that the animated interludes are delightful.

I think that the game feels like it stepped out of time from another generation and I wish it had more meat on its bones. I would have loved puzzles or platforming to spice things up

Your mileage may vary:

I found the combat to be quite tedious and often devolved into me popping my buffs and whacking as hard as I could to get through the encounter. I found the level design to be overly linear and samey. PS5 performance was poor. I was expecting a real story to be told.

I'm torn on this. I feel like Sony is generally good to their first-party devs and they pump out the most consistently good titles out there. I'd love to see what From could do with Sony's backing. Bloodborne 2? 👀

However, I think it would be a shame to have their games locked to one platform.
