The problem is they weren't misled. They didn't fall prey to misinformation. They were either willfully ignorant or they wholeheartedly agreed with him.

Or they were like you who sold your beloved team to them to fatten your own pockets.

My only complaint is the lack of Ekko and Heimerdinger in part 2.
