We do need alternatives. I'd delete Facebook,but I don't want to lose contact with all those people, and messenger is useful. A lot of people have commented ( not the kind who care about politics) that their fb feed is not people they know, but just ads and other nonsense.

I don't have an issue with the Australian. I am Australian. It's right wing, used to be a reputable paper until Murdoch bought it. It's intellectual enough but has a conservative bias now. It's a good paper to read as i mainly read the guardian so it gives me an idea what the other side thinks
