As a younger brother I hate that this dynamic remains the same well into your forties and fifties. (Love my big sister!)

I snuck into the mall theater to see this one in high school! Had never seen the first film but read the book. It was a wild ride, and Chauncey’s scene with the dirt bike has haunted me since.

It’s great for displaying the trade paperbacks, collections, and random issues (including facsimile editions of classics that I grew up reading and admiring).

Love it! I keep a ton of facsimile comics on my spinner rack too. Looks great!

It was a total pity ‘B’. I know they knew I was hopeless that semester, but they rewarded the effort if not the ability. Anyway - saw your comment about teaching stats and it reminded me of my old prof. 🙂

The Shining

I took stats 101 in college. Struggled. I’d go in and talk to the prof during office hours. Useless. When my p’s asked how my grades were after the semester I said all A’s and B’s and one F. I was shocked when my grades arrived and found he gave me a B. I’ll never forgot that act of kindness.
