An Eze hat-trick is fantastic and very funny, he will rightly get the plaudits. Merino and trossard also stand outs in a really high level performance. Zubi caught out for their goal but he will learn a lesson from that and it ultimately hasn’t hurt us. Good to see noni back too

Why is Richarlisons’ shit first touch/clearance under no pressure against his own hand not a penalty? It’s not like a ball was hit at him. He was fully in control of all of the actions and movements, including those of the ball? Being shit isn’t a defense against giving penalties?

That is an unbelievable comeback. There has been some criticism early this season for the approach (some of it deserved imo) but he got it right today. It was a tough, tough game. Away games don’t come much harder. And even if we hadn’t got the winner the set up was the right one. Very big result.

The extra squad depth strength is really showing today. Very solid performance and the new guys are fitting in really well. Madueke especially good when he goes outside the fullback to the byline.

I hope we sign someone genuinely creative and then not coach that out of them by forcing them to pass sideways until we die of boredom. Our midfield looks suoer talented but kinda slow. There’s no turn of pace there. And Martinelli has peaked at this level. Time for an upgrade out left

The women’s game has grown so much in the last few years. Investment finally being made (proud arsenal are right at the front of that), coverage growing all the time, player skill levels increasing quickly and constantly. Penalties need some work though 😬

Just caught the Arsenal vs Newcastle highlights. Max Dowman looks like a real talent. Lots to learn but already looks comfortable at first team level. Exciting prospect!

The Thomas Partey charges, mere days after we attempted to retain him, show just how mistaken the last few years of playing him have been. A very uncomfortable decision then now looks utterly grotesque. My disappoint in my club and the leadership. I hope there’s some serious reflection going on.

Anyone surprised at Verstapoen today clearly hasn’t watched him race before 2022. This is who he is. It’s who he’s always been. And race officials and other teams/drivers need to stop pulling their punches when discussing him. He’s dangerous and values nobody, including himself.
