Yessss and also Vik would also blame/hate the Mage for "hurting Jayce" (even though whether the Mage actually did is uo for debate) and by extension himself because he sees the Mage as basically himself (again, even if that's not actually the case).

That's basically all the post canon "fics" in my head!! Vik having to reconcile w/ the fact that almost all of Jayce's new traumas could've been avoided if he'd just trusted & opened up to him, & now Jayce's suffering is the result from not doing so!!

My personal headcanon is that Jayce's postcanon condition is worse than Viktor's, from his poor shattered leg to the trauma from being in the ravine. Viktor finds himself wrestling with so much grief/anger over what was done to Jayce. And Vik works really hard to care for and comfort his partner.
