Looked like I'd abandoned this thread but no, here we go again.

Bit of time travelling went on here but it's still the same camera and roll of film.

A late #caturday post. Can't believe our boys turned one this week! 🤯
Here's some before and afters. The kitten photos are some of the earliest pics I took of them. Taken on my phone just after we picked them up, as they explored their new home. Adult photos taken in July with my D810. #cats #kitten

Still the same roll of film and same walk but a little further into the city now. Nice colours & contrast on Phoenix 1.

Satisfying! 15x rolls of 35mm fit perfectly in a small 1120 Peli. Is this the most practical way to carry/store film? No. Looks neat though. 😂

Wasn't looking for an XA but saw this with a £10 price sticker on it today & could not pass it up. Thought at that price it must be an ornament but got it home to some fresh batts & everything seems to work. Need to replace the light seals but otherwise it seems good. 😬

Another #caturday post & it's Bear looking particularly expressive. Don't you dare ask him to get down from the kitchen worktops. Who the hell do you think you are?! 🤨😂

I got this lens with portraits of our cats in mind & I have zero regrets.

Still in the Barras but one of the last photos I took here before continuing further afield with this little plastic camera.

A short step to the corner and got low, looking to the other side of the street from my last image, BAad & Crossbill Distillery just about visible in the shade.

Some more Barras Market red shutter action from this roll. Anyone who knows Glasgow will know it hasn't been much of a walk so far. All images have been taken within 350 meters of each other. 😂

Lovely looking cameras! Picked up a less handsome F55 recently. Not tried it out yet but seems to be functioning & looks super clean. Wasn't looking for one but decided I couldn't say no for less than ten quid with strap, manual & fresh batteries. Guess it's the F55D as it has the data back.

Barras Market 07.2025

Next up from the roll. Just a short walk down the street from Bill's Tools is this junction in the Barras. Not a market day when the place would have been more lively but meant I got to shoot the red shutters

Hidden behind the parked cars in the last photo was this Vespa which I often see parked against the red shutters of Bill's Tool Store. The scene wasn't quite bright enough for the Wide Pics' one shutter speed with @harmanphoto.co.uk 200 iso Phoenix 1

And a few more verticals. Glad I took the time to capture these before 305 & 341 Caledonia Road were gone forever. If you have something you want to photograph, make the time before the opportunity is gone.

Used my Nikon D810 to capture the blast as well but rather than trying to duel wield during the crucial seconds I opted to have my DSLR rolling video. Here's the blast in full from our view point on Kings Bridge before we fled the scene to escape the dust cloud.

Posted up on demolition day with the crowd on Kings Bridge, I managed to get a couple of shots off that captured the first building coming down. I was manually advancing the film in my FE so not quick enough to get the second building before it fell below the tree line.

A match made in hell? A cursed object passed down when a family member was having a clear out. Trying it out with Phoenix. Wide lens & plastic masks that block the top+bottom of the frame wasting a chunk of film to achieve a panoramic look. An Xpan if it came free with cereal.

A few more photos taken the day of/evening before the Caledonia Road high rises were demolished. The third photo was taken maybe an hour before the blasts brought these buildings down. I was watching with the crowd on Kings Bridge.

Had a wander round, took some photos on the night that would be their last sunset. I've no real connection to them but they've been a part of the Glasgow skyline throughout my life.
