I do completely understand the compulsion. I have also benefitted from some great online groups prior to procedures that I needed. There is value to some of the content.

This is such a shift in thought for me. I do appreciate how many reputable sources are attempting to get information out onto the various platforms. It just takes some critical thinking and perhaps a bit more research.

Hi Joyce, I too usually check Yelp or other sites, especially when traveling. I appreciate that people share pictures, because I prefer fresher food when I go out. I never thought about checking into the parking situation. Can you tell I live in a small town?

Hi Welsey - A little bit ago, I was looking up medical information for a friend who was just diagnosed with cancer. When I looked up the AI "facts" from the Google summary, many were shocking misinterpretations of information. I learned a lot.
