Just a 30+ with a fascination with fantasy and scifi that I decided to take a stab at worldbuilding.
Would anyone be willing to offer suggestions for vehicle based characters other than calling them Living Machines? I know two people with their own names for the vehicles in their worlds. Hybrids and Dires respectively. But I don't want to use those, plus the owners are rightfully protective of them

While most do not distinguish between them, "Dire machine" is a subcategory of the large category of living machines.
The Dire machine is a species created by Ratbat artist featuring tentacles, mostly unbending bodies.
