Being a working parent is tough. It's even harder when your boss gives you last-minute notice of your shifts. Working parents deserve a consistent schedule that lets them plan their lives. It's time we demand a #FairWorkweek and #SchedulesThatWork.

#CT is facing a preventable housing crisis. New HUD rules could cut 70% of permanent supportive housing funding, putting 6.5K people at risk of losing their homes overnight.

This season, we’re grateful for the policmakers, advocates, providers, parents, and young people who fight for that vision every day. A #CT where every family has enough isn’t just an aspiration. It’s a choice we can make together.

The shutdown may be ending, but the lesson is clear: chaos in DC hits #CT fast.

And the fight isn’t over. HR 1 brings massive cuts to #Medicaid & #SNAP. Food & health go together, & right now, both are at risk. #CT can choose a different path.

The manufactured #SNAP crisis is getting worse.

Courts ordered contingency funds released—but partial payments mean longer delays. Families can’t wait for DC politics.

Other states are stepping up. #CT must do the same. NOW.

This is an emergency. Folks who benefit from #SNAP will not see money on their EBT cards starting today, Nov 1st.

CT has billions in surplus—we can keep families fed.

#SNAP keeps food on the table, supports local businesses, and fuels our economy.

#SNAP isn’t a treat—it’s essential.

Pausing benefits Nov 1 hurts families and our economy. CT can close the gap using record reserves + surplus funds.

📞 Tell your legislators + the Governor: #CT must step up.

A family of four earning $126K could see premiums jump from $10K → $26K.

CT is committing $3M in emergency funds to @CTFoodshare as federal #SNAP support disappears.

We’re glad the need is being recognized—but $3M can’t replace $72M/month in SNAP benefits.

CT must commit to covering this gap through year’s end.
