Speaking of books, if you have watched "Death By Lightning" on Netflix, be sure to read Candice Millard's phenomenal book, "Destiny of the Republic." "Death By Lightning" is excellent, but as is so often the case, the book is even better.

In my process of trying to read the books I should have already read, completing "The Wealth of Nations" by Adam Smith feels like an accomplishment. I wish more members of Congress would give it a read.

My compliments to @cduhigg.bsky.social on his book Supercommunicators. It was a little depressing to see the ways I have failed in my own communication efforts, but I take comfort in knowing my errors are not uncommon.

My Dad always told me, "Every man should own a truck at some point." Whether true or not, it was a joy letting my Dad see my new truck and giving him a ride.
