I might be missing something because I'm not nearly as versed in the topic as you are but my mind is making a connection between NVIDIA having surplus product and the Trump Admin pushing to allow them to sell to China.

As GEN Hertling explains, McClain is missing the basic difference between an Officer and an Enlisted person. Two different oaths. Nobody is asking an Enlisted to decide the legality of an order. It's the officers who need to make that determination.

As GEN Hertling explains, McClain is missing the basic difference between an Officer and an Enlisted person. Two different oaths. Nobody is asking an Enlisted to decide the legality of an order. It's the officers who need to make that determination.
