Tonight's Subnautica stream went well, although I never want to look at an octopus or crab again. I think that's normal.

As usual, I was streaming after most of the gamers I know had signed off but we did raid @tabbybat.bsky.social.

Just for fun I tried something different with the end credits:

It's Monday, so it's time to swim around in the Ocean. I will be live with Subnautica at 7PM (Eastern), and debuting a few new toys. The game is getting interesting and I have big plans to actually do things which will no doubt be derailed when I meet a bigger fish.

It's Monday, so it's time to just keep swimming! I'll be streaming more of Subnautica at 7PM EST. Last week I repaired a starship engine with tape, explored a floating island and got my submarine permanently stuck on a beach. Let's see how much worse things can get today.

Streaming schedule for the week:

Mondays, 7-10 PM EST: Subnautica. Stranded alone on an alien planet with only the hologram of my bunkmate Arnold for company.

Thursdays, 7-10 PM EST: Gloomhaven. An ongoing quest to make money . If we happen to save people while we're doing it, that's a bonus.

I'd go for this. I'd even go for this as a mod of a Total War game or something similar. There was a short-lived "Aragon Online", which tried to remake this as an online multiplayer wargame, but that's really not the same.

For the last few weeks, I have been playing Star Trek: 25th Anniversary on Monday nights. This week I got to the final episode and... did two things in the wrong order and locked up the story, having to go back to my last good save and replay two episodes. Okay, this happens. (1/?)
