I will however not sit here and argue one project is better than another, that’s completely subjective. There are people that poor hundreds if not thousands of hours into creating even smaller games.

Companies are companies, they work off of what people are willing to spend. People were willing to spend $70 on ToTk, Pokémon ZA, Donkey Kong and other titles. This sets precedent for what they can charge and what people will pay for new titles.

Scope and depth has nothing to do with it.

This is your opinion and there is no arguing that. It’s hard to argue what is valuable to people. There are gamers who will spend hundreds of hours in this and find their own value.

in the current economic climate of games, $70 makes sense, or are we forgetting Tears of the Kingdom was $70. Is it a lot? yes but people willingly paid it for ToTK.
