💯 Feminism gave us choice. We need to educate younger women on “how it used to be.” Up until the 1970’s, there were 3 career options for women: nursing, teaching, secretarial—until you got married, then “you stayed at home.” To be single? Career focused? To own your own home?These were unthinkable.

The current administration has taken legal action against children’s hospitals demanding lists of patients receiving care for gender dysphoria and their providers. The hospitals I know have fought back and so far, prevailed, but also don’t want to do anything to draw attention to themselves.

The sad thing re current environment is it has largely eliminated a critical resource at children’s hospitals for those dealing with gender dysphoria: evidence-based, family and child centered education/counseling. Find a community of other families dealing with similar issues&learn from them.

This is a tough question. From a parent perspective, it always starts with unconditional love. Unfortunately, rn,the administration has vilified/threatened US programs aimed at supporting children/families dealing w/ gender dysphoria,to the point it is not viable or safe to provide such care.

Again,lies.Of course it’s normal to question in adolescence. But NO ONE in the medical field would ever equate questioning one’s gender w/ a need for surgery. The majority of trans individuals know by age 6 there is a mismatch between gender at birth&their experience. It’s not about teenage angst.

People who say these things have NO IDEA what transgender care means. I don’t even know what “pushing transgender ideology” means B/C THAT IS NOT A THING. The current administration wants to eradicate all things transgender&will lie&spread propaganda to accomplish this. Keep resisting & educating.

But voting for a highly qualified, highly competent person who is a woman with brown skin was not something their poor little close-minded, racist, misogynistic brains could handle (aided by social media algorithms and right-wing propaganda/lies). And that is what is really sad about our country.

I am surprised to hear Clinton isn’t in the Epstein files.But whatever.That’s not the point.The point is that alleged criminals, regardless of position or party, should be investigated and prosecuted if evidence is adequate. But evidence must be as transparent as law (not DOJ. The Law) allows.

Remember the Thomas Guide? Open on your lap, as you desperately tried to find your way in an unfamiliar place? Oops, the map continues on page 54. Turn to page 54 etc. Nope. Not going back but feel free. Not everyone has access to a bus. GPS was and is a game changer. But sure, paper maps are great.

Most Americans support reasonable gun control. The majority of gun owners are responsible. But highly lethal guns are too easy to obtain. The NRA,GOP&SCOTUS are huge barriers to meaningful US gun control. We need to remove them as barriers—to start: get money out of politics, vote blue, expand SC.
