Building a strong PTA means finding ways to engage everyone in the school community— teachers, staff and caregivers! Our Founders Day contest winner came up with a fantastic approach boosting PTA membership by strengthening teacher involvement, leading to connecting an active school community.

Founders’ Day (Feb. 17) honors Alice McLellan Birney, Phoebe Apperson Hearst, and Selena Sloan Butler, who fought to improve education, health, and safety for all children.
