Taxes are my money.
I want them to reflect my values.
For far too long, I accepted that my tax money funded wars & injustices, but at least we had a social safety net.
If there is no safety net, if we aren't working towards a more just society, then I don't want to pay for the rest.

I'm not clear how we can afford bonuses for air traffic controllers and ICE agents; payouts to criminals connected with Jan 6 including Trump; bailouts for foreign governments; planes for appointed officials BUT we can't afford to pay for basic services for citizens.
