Human rights are universal - if we start stripping away basic human rights from any section of society then none of us has rights – just privileges that can be taken away by people in power whenever they want. Would we really want to take that path?

I’m about to quit my Twitter account for good. It’s been so important to me but the last year or so it’s become a cesspit of right wing, toxic conspiracy. I’m so relieved.
