The best argument for this would be if you could consistently advance in your career without needing to physically move and so bought for the long term where you wanted to be… so of course the administration that has done its best to crush remote work in all its forms is proposing it.

I mean in one paragraph they basically undermine any concept that this is even half-baked. Literally no Dems have agreed to anything! How the fuck are you expecting a vote within two weeks if your concepts of a plan aren’t even agreed to by your counterparts?!

This is why places like Axios are so poisonous. They publish an article with thin to no sourcing saying Dems are itching to cave in the shutdown- right before a failed vote to reopen the government no less- but it immediately becomes one more reason for wreckers to holler about Dems Suck.

When you definitely know what the last administration accomplished. Look I know book reviews aren’t hard news even at the Washington Post, but facts matter. Real events matter. Even at my small journal a review with this big of a blind spot would have been sent back.

I was married, but I'm not married anymore. Women don't like the vehicle.

When they finally ran the story in print it was two days after the initial online release and buried on Page A12, with a small mention on the footer, as it wasn't as important as story as the caution of a doctor publishing a gender study and a column on how misinformation was on the rise.

This was a specific comment on how the NYTimes did not feature or push this story at all, with the front page of the following day after the online release not even mentioning the story.

This dude! We have sent him $40bn and rising when everyone knew it was a train wreck going in! Would you rather find ACA subsidies or just send it to this clown?!

Some gentlemen beg to differ.

I honestly don’t get this stance. You can’t be in this camp without having “win more elections” as a necessary higher priority. The Dems had 50 senate seats including Manchin and Sinema, neither of whom would blow up the filibuster or allow structural reform to happen.
