You can surely preach, BZ! Thank you for today’s clarion call to Christians - and thanks for the reminder of who Jesus is, the definitions of the church, Christianity and the Bible. So so good in these days of chaos and confusion.

There are several reasons I left the SBC, but their consistent refusal to genuinely with integrity face this blatant abuse of spiritual power is right at the top. I grew up a SBC MK - Baylor grad, SWBTS grad. I will never go back.

Watch “The Mauritanian”(rewatch it if you’ve forgotten it) if you still believe we would always be lawful and kind to rounded up detainees. The move is horrifying and certainly worth your time considering the times we live in.

We live in district 26 also. We met with him last Friday at his office in Flower Mound. Call that office directly. I got nowhere when calling his DC office requesting a meeting. Of course when we met, he was more interested in debating “truth” than he was in hearing our concerns.

Oh wow… all these years of knowing that and I never fully realized it until you made the connection. Thank you.

That was my hope. Seems things have changed a little now. But you can still go for up to 180 days, so perhaps there would be time to go and then establish yourself.

A friend received her MSW from SBTS. I received my MSW through a dual program between U of TX Arlington & SWBTS. I received an MSW from UTA and a MS in Church Social Services (CSS) from SWBTS. Some of the most Christ-like men I ever met taught CSS at SWBTS. They’re gone and we’re the worse for it.

Have you read Wright’s, “Surprised by Hope”? It’s a true shift in how to view the resurrection of the body, heaven and earth…

I keep reflecting on this also. It seems we are about to receive what we asked for. And all I can pray is Lord have mercy on us, sinners.
