My daughter's college dorm played Condom Bingo last night. Here is her board. They were given descriptions of each thing and had to figure out which square it was. They used condoms as chips. They aren't messing around.

Amidst the chaos, helped move the second and last bairn off to college. Today was drop-off day. We brought in the fridge, dresser, shelves, etc. Next week is the proper move-in. Son in Spain for a semester; daughter gone; time to enter the next phase. I hope there's something left when they're done.

The Latin/Greek thing is cool, but unfortunately, not true. I posted it once over at the bad place and no less than the James A. Garfield National Historic Site hopped on to clear it up. He is a looker, though.

Saw this absolute nonsense at my local grocery store this morning. "...for all Americans" my ass. I think hiding them behind copies of Understanding Menopause is the patriotic thing to do.
