Just installed ito (is open source). But dictly looks also interesting.
And yes OS will catch up. Question is if there will be a „pro“ play. Like Raycast vs. Spotlight.

Sounds to me not so unusual. The article says it’s an early prototype. Working out what functionality people need and what works in real circumstances, before introducing fine grained user management, event logging, etc. sounds smarter than creating ‘a perfect system’ that doesn’t do the job.

1. It's well known (low risk for buying decision)
2. All data is already in Atlassian systems (no switching cost)
3. Everybody knows it (no training cost for new people)
4. Can be configured (we are special™)

Most enterprise software is not about the user, but the buyer (see rise of Azure Devops)

I've actually seen companies that were able to prioritize and focus. But I also seen many that were far away from this. The main difference: Focus comes with strategic decision making, if everything is 'a good idea' nothing is.
