I be telling stories.
I'm spending the week packing, but I'll be popping back on here to ask y'all to please support me with next week's move. Ready to put this nightmare behind me and navigating all this legal and bureaucratic bull has been so much to handle. Any amount is helpful, and so is sharing!

If y'all have been following my harasser situation on here, y'all know I have been dealing with not only the violent aggressor, but also unhelpful landlords and police. I got the great news that I can move, and I've been waiting for the Housing Department to approve the location which they finally

On Sunday at the Micheaux Film Festival awards, your boy took home Outstanding Animated (Short) for I Know Him So Well, an honor we shared with Dreamworks’s Wednesdays With Gramps and producer Shabrayia Cleaver. What joy.

Screened at "I Know Him So Well" @ The Roxie last month for SFQFF. What a great experience and a wonderful crop of films and makers. Shoutout to the homies who came through, my cousin and my Future.

After a follow up visit for one, both the kittens are doing well and purring in my lap. I am exhausted. We’ve been crashed out on the couch for hours now.

This is not a financially comfortable time for me with the moving and adjusting to cat daddy life, so if you’re able to support Ellipsis, Interrobang and I with a little boost, we’d greatly appreciate it!

Celebrating two nominations at the 2025 Best of NFMLA Awards. (Best Score nom for @gabrielbasco.bsky.social!) Honored for the @variety.com mention and just hyped that my work continues to find its audience. With all that's going on in my life right now, this is so encouraging.

If you loved #Sinners and want literary bloodsucking goodies, then please read vampire stories by our amazing Black authors. However, if you are looking for the formative texts, purchasing from my HORROR HISTORIA imprint ensures that your money will still reach a Black creator.

These are three people I would absolutely claw my way out of a crypt for—for all they do and have done for Los Angeles, the morale and needs of movie lovers and the minoritized, and the legacies of various cherished and mindfuck films. Happy Anniversary, Hollywood Entertainment!
