When a religious group is able to address these different crises is can become a solution and then worldview. When it gives people what they want it is satisfying.

There are a lot of crises going on in the current moment and it can be helpful to look at conspiracy theories as something that can bring order and meaning to a situation. So to study them, we can see how and why people are turning to groups like QAnon and other NRMs.
