On his inside cover, Yoshida is unmistakably despondent and alone. Does he feel that he's being dragged back towards his dangerous town life? Would a normal life, alone, still make him miserable? There is such a powerful contrast between the cover and the way he's portrayed in this chapter.

Adding to this, his people/bear binary recontextualizes this scene for me. Convincing Denji to, in his words "live as a human" is akin to convincing Denji to remain in the same world as him.

attempts at reconciliation with both Denji and Asa are genuine. I think he feels immense relief, despite his fundamental distrust in bears. Hell, Asa even has her arm back. He could have simply apologized before offering his solution to escape; these gestures are not necessary/

They used her rocket-torpedo-missile arm on the uppercut instead here but added exhaust and it looks so fucking good dude (in the manga she doesn't get to use it before Violence interrupts)
