This is spot on.
Online abuse of any kind should not be tolerated.
But this statement is clearly a tactic by the PGMOL to deflect & to try and silence pundits who have been, for the first time, universal in their condemnation of the red card decision.
The PGMOL exists to protect refs, not to make the game better.

Stearling looks like a player who is playing without very much conviction. I kind of hope that he can get a fluke goal to maybe get on track. We could sure use the cover at winger. #Arsenal.

@billycarpy.bsky.social We seem very limited in patterns to initiate attack. Saka carries right, Martinelli left. Saka can cut in or carry near post, but Martinelli is ineffective cutting in. We are dangerous from broken play, but that rarely occurs when we dominate possession.

I don’t find anybody on this City team truly detestable (Bernardo Silva is a bit of a dick). But is anybody on this City team actually likable? I simply don’t care for any of these players. Not one.
